Winter Writing Competition is back!

Laurie

Updated: Nov 10, 2021

Write a winter-themed poem or short story and submit it for the chance of having it transformed into a video storybook.

We would love to see you bring warmth to the cold months and write something that evokes this unique time of year. It can be about a winter holiday or just take place in the snow. Have fun writing and it will certainly show in your submission!

All works submitted, whether or not you are successful, will be shared in a following article.

For some inspiration, take a look at the visual storybook we made from last year's winning poem titled, 'Barry Bunny' by William McArdle.

Submission Requirements

  • 100 - 500 words max.

  • Winter-themed

  • Submitted before 14th December 2021

To take part, send your writing as a word document or in the email itself to info@thefarawaycic.org
